Ingredients:
- 300 g flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 egg yolks
- 100 g icing sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 170 g butter
- White tea with roses
Decoration:
- You can decorate your cookies with Christmas shapes
- Icing sugar
- Chocolate stars
- Shredded coconut
- Melted chocolate
- Colored sprinkles
- Box for carrying them
Preparation:
- Beat the butter at room temperature with the icing sugar and the pinch of salt included. Add the vanilla extract and white tea with roses and mix everything well.
- Add the egg yolks one by one and beat them well. Then, add the sifted flour with enveloping movements, avoiding kneading as much as possible. Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the oven to 200 ºC. Lightly flour the surface where you are going to prepare your cookies and roll out the dough with a rolling pin until it is about half a centimeter thick.
- Cut the cookies with a cookie cutter; if you want to put the cookies in the box as a final result, it is ideal to use a circular one 5 cm in diameter.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 8 or 9 minutes until you see the edges lightly browned.
- Finally, remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
- Once everything is ready, decorate them and that's it.
