Bizcocho de Té Matcha

Matcha Tea Cake

To start the week, we bring you another delicious recipe. This time, a Matcha Tea cake. A delightful dessert to prepare for a get-together with friends, family, or just for yourself any day.

Ingredients:

  • 50 grams of butter.

  • 80 grams of sugar.

  • 3 eggs.

  • 95 grams of flour.

  • 30 ml of any animal or plant-based milk

  • 7 grams of Matcha Tea.

What do you need to prepare it?

For a delicious cake, you'll need these utensils to make it perfect and surprise everyone. Don't leave anything out, as everything is important.

  • A bowl to add the contents.

  • A whisk for beating.

  • An oven.

  • A mold to put the mixture in the oven.

  • Baking paper.

  • Final decorations to adorn it to your liking. Some examples: powdered sugar, chocolate, fruits…

  • A plate to present it to your guests.

Preparation:

  1. First of all, it's important to turn on the oven so that when everything is ready, you can put it in. You should preheat to 180ºC.

  2. Take the 50 grams of butter, put them in a cup, and microwave them to melt. We advise you to put it in for one minute, and if it's not completely melted, add a few extra seconds, and your butter will be ready.

  3. Take the bowl where you're going to make the mixture and add the melted butter from step 2, then add the necessary amount of sugar. Beat well until everything is combined and perfect for an ideal base, and then add the 3 eggs. Once added, beat everything well again until it forms a pale cream; it will also increase slightly in volume.

  4. Next, add the milk, which will give it a creamy touch. Mix it with the rest of the ingredients. Sift the flour and gradually add it to the already mixed ingredients.

  5. Before putting it in the oven, we need the most important ingredient; we recommend using premium organic Japanese Matcha Tea.

  6. Before pouring the mixture into the mold, grease it with a little butter to prevent sticking. Then, add the mixture and bake it at 180ºC for about 20-23 minutes.

After that time, your delicious Matcha Tea cake will be ready. Enjoy!
